Word has been received from Annapolis that the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee at this time does not plan to move forward with budgetary cuts to the Maryland Ag Fair Board Funding, as has been recommended by the Department of Legislative Services. Please refer to the MAAFS website for updates as they are received. If anything in the immediate sense arises, fairs and shows that we have e-mail addresses for will be notified via e-mail.
Please be aware that the budgetary process is ever evolving, and we as the fair industry in Maryland must stay abreast of the daily activities in Annapolis.
